Nothing
says summer quite like a trip to the community pool. Today, I had the
pleasure of accepting a $2,000 check from the Foothills Optimist Club,
TriSports.com, and TriSports Racing to support pool passes for 200 local youth.
This
is the seventh year that the Foothills Optimist Club has supported this
program, and the Town is very grateful to the Optimists, Trisports.com and
TriSports Racing for being such great community partners.
Another
great way to enjoy the Marana Pool this summer is by attending a Dive-In Movie.
The Muppets are being shown June 16 at 7:30 p.m., so come relax in the water
and enjoy the show.Mayor Ed Honea
